Judy Kuhn from Broadway's newest hit and Tony Award nominated musical, Fun Home, spoke with The Pickwyck about the beginning of her career, her past experience on Broadway and Fun Home in this new interview!
When did you discover you had a passion for performing? Was there a specific production that got you interested in theater?
You made your Broadway debut in The Mystery of Edwin Drood! What was that experience like for you? What was running through your mind when you stepped on a Broadway stage for the first time and performed for an audience?

Congratulations on the opening of your new show, Fun Home! For those who do not know about Fun Home, could you give a brief description of the production and how your character is vital to the show?
Could you tell us a little bit about the structure of the musical compared to the graphic novel?
Fun Home has gotten incredible reception by the audience and critics alike! How does it feel to be a part of a show that is said to be the most important musical not only for this year, but for the last ten years?
Not only have you performed on stage, you have also appeared in movies and television. What do you feel has been a more rewarding experience, acting on stage or for the screen?
Along with acting, you have also performed on concert stages from Carnegie Hall to the Royal Albert Hall in London and have released several solo albums! Do you feel a different rush singing your own music, versus singing lyrics written for a production?
